Day Surgery Operation in Ängelholm belongs to the area of anesthesia, surgery, and intensive care at Helsingborg Hospital. Here, we primarily conduct planned day surgery but also have inpatient patients undergoing procedures such as hip replacements, knee replacements, or spinal surgeries within the framework of short-term care. We perform specialized planned surgeries in orthopedics, surgery, ENT, gynecology, urology, and dentistry. We operate on both adults and children. The recovery department has twelve monitoring places for elective and inpatient care.

We are open Monday to Thursday from 07:00 to 20:30 and Friday from 07:00 to 17:00.

About 90 employees work in the entire unit, and the team consists of operating room nurses, anesthesia nurses, intensive care nurses, nursing assistants, sterilization technicians, and anesthesiologists. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for you as a nursing assistant who has a great interest in pre- and post-operative care!

As our new colleague, you will be part of a team characterized by commitment and curiosity. The pace can sometimes be high, but with joint efforts, we find inspiration and solutions together. You will work with pre- and post-operative care, monitoring, and nursing of patients. All documentation is done in Melior, and our surgical planning tool is Orbit.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant and meets the National Board of Health and Welfare's requirements for a protected professional title, regardless of whether you have studied according to previous or current program structures. A focus on emergency care/health care is an advantage, or alternatively, experience from post-operative care, day surgery, surgery/urology, and/or orthopedic operations. We are looking for someone who is flexible in their work and always has a positive attitude towards patients and colleagues.
